Stremio Community v5 is an unofficial, community-built version of Stremio that adds features the official client still doesn’t have.
What’s new compared to official Stremio?
- Drag-and-drop subtitles — drop a subtitle file directly onto the video without digging through menus
- 4K, HDR, and Dolby Atmos support — proper high-quality playback where the official version falls short
- Discord Rich Presence — shows what you’re watching as your Discord status
- Lighter on resources — noticeably better performance than the official build
The project is open source and community-maintained. If you use Stremio regularly, this version is worth switching to.
